I’m Manjeet Dewan, the proud owner of Diamond Truck Sales.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

After immigrating to Canada in 2014, I was happy to find a career that enabled me to use my commercial trucking skills as I had a keen interest and years of experience in the same field back home. Initially, I worked as a business consultant to educate clients and help them procure trucks and trailers as per their requirements. This includes helping them understand the suitability of leasing and financing terms and warranty conditions.

After working in the transportation sector in the Canada sector for last couple of years, I was able to build valuable connections with various transportation entrepreneurs, professionals, dealerships, workshops, insurers, bankers, and other service providers. During this time, I also realized that there was growth potential in the sales and purchase of commercial vehicles, and I want to use my skills, experience, and network in the transportation sector to start my own business.

To ensure the effectiveness of the business, I proceeded to sell and purchase commercial vehicles is through a dealership. As per my research, I found that it was the right way to do business in this sector. Moreover, it allowed me to gain the trust of prospects and stakeholders.

Currently, I’ve been in business for approximately six years, and during this time, my industry has changed drastically. Compared to when I first started, there is more competition now. If I want to stand out from my competition, I need to acquire additional expertise to meet customers’ expectations.

Right now, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the business will be transited into digital modes. That means more technological tools and programs will are required for businesses like mine to remain in the market.

Fortunately, I’ve already launched my business online to assist my clients seamlessly, and to my surprise, smart buying through digital means has become the most enjoyable part of my job. We have set up our digital sales tools through Webware’s technology, which we feel will be more rewarding in the time to come. With their assistance, our business is well structured now.

At the same time, after we got approved by OMVIC (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council), we managed to acquire a good number of vehicles in our inventory. We even obtained hot locations for our yard and office in Greater Toronto Area, tied up with the Workshop, built a skilled and professional workforce, secured marketing and sales tools based on recent technology, and built connections with large fleets, in-house financing, and business experts.

We’ve dedicated all of these efforts to provide a professional platform for new and small truckers. As a trusted used commercial vehicle center, we aim to offer our clients exactly what they are looking for at a lower price while still providing them high-quality products.

While our business model includes the purchase and sale of a desirable mix of high-quality used commercial trucks and trailers so that small businesses can benefit, we also aim to do more.
